The service
Mochipy is a marketplace that connects customers with independent home bakers for local pickup. Bakers sell their own products; Mochipy is not the baker and does not make or inspect food.
Accounts
You must give accurate information and keep your account secure. Bakers must be at least 18 and hold the permits their town and state require.
Orders and payment
Prices and fees are shown before you pay. Your card is authorized at checkout and charged when the baker accepts. Cancellations and refunds follow the Refunds & Cancellations policy and each baker's stated policy.
Food safety and allergens
Bakers must list ingredients and allergens accurately and may not sell foods that require refrigeration under home-kitchen rules. Home kitchens may handle common allergens; read each item's information before ordering.
Permits
A “Permit verified” badge means Mochipy reviewed the baker's permit evidence. It is not a government endorsement, and Mochipy does not issue permits.
Content and conduct
Don't post unlawful, harmful, harassing or misleading content, share others' private information, or take payments outside Mochipy. We may remove content, suspend accounts and close shops.
